Steamed Cabbage Momos
INGREDIENTS
FOR DOUGH:

1½ cup maida / plain flour
·
1 tsp rice flour
·
½ tsp salt
·
water for kneading
·
oil for greasing
FOR STUFFING:
·
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
·
½ tsp chilli powder or 2 green chillies chopped
·
1 onion chopped
·
2 cup cabbage, grated
· ½ tsp salt
· ½ tsp salt
INSTRUCTIONS
·
Firstly mix all the dry ingredients together and keep it for half
an hour
·
Heat 3 tsp oil and saute all above on medium flame till it
becomes cooked. Generally it will take 15 to 20 minutes. Keep it aside
·
Pinch small ball sized dough from the big dough.(15 balls would be ideal)
·
Flatten them one by one and keeping dusting them with some maida to avoid sticking and
start to roll each of them using a rolling pin.
·
Roll to circle with medium thickness.
·
Now use a tsp to take stuffing and place in the centre of each
circle.
·
Wet only the edges of the circle with your finger after dipping your
finger in the water (for sealing it properly).
·
Start pleating the edges
slowly and gather everything.
·
Pinch and Twist it on top to seal it, forming a bundle.
·
Heat a steamer and arrange the momos in the tray without touching
each other.
· Furthermore, steam momos for 10-12 minutes or till shiny
sheen appears over it or get a transparent look.
· Finally, enjoy your Cabbage momos with red sauce, green sauce and Chopsticks
