Back to School

So I visited school today after the sudden decision to shut down on March 8th. The security aunty was gleaming with delight after seeing some movement in school.
I miss the excitement of children early morning, the chaos during lunch time, the gathering of children near my table with a million questions, rushing up and down to take classes, the horrid tea I have inspite of knowing that 😉, the staffroom gossips, correcting notebooks, art work and so on.
It was deserted and dusty today, with painting going on in the building. Didn't know where to begin. Took a good 45 minutes, although 30 minutes was my estimate, to clear up my books.
I was happy to see my potted plants are being watered. I thanked Miskin bhayya for tajing good care of them on my way home. Hoping everything returns to normalcy soon.

Tiny yet significant

You must have heard of this rhyme. I used to recite this when in Primary school. Never knew what it meant then.
Little drops of water,
Little grains of sand,
Make a mighty ocean
And a pleasant land.
Even the tiniest drop is still a part of the ocean. It's size is nothing compared to the vastness of it. We are so tiny when compared to the vast Universe but still very much a part of it.
Just as every drop counts so is each one of us. We are important to a multiverse.
Let's not look down upon ourselves.
Little things matter, little steps take us forward. Don't stop....move forward. Let's be thankful and grateful to God for the little things because they are the most important.
