As Sharp as a Cactus

It all started with L's love for Cactus and now we have a Mini Cactus area in our Balcony. The theme for my Welcome board in School this year too was on Cactus. Much Inspired by L and the Cactus too. A sharper me now.💚

Baking Madness

Why should I leave Baking out of my favourite pastimes. My lovely daughters have always inspired me to explore the Baking world with their sweet tooth. My friends have encouraged, wooed and motivated my feats. 😍
Few clips of my baking exploits this Quarantine season.

The Great Indian Travel Bug

Past few years were also spent in Wanderlust. We were bitten by the Great Indian Travel Bug so hard that every Holiday was never wasted, even though our kids fretted over this madness of ours.😉 Travelling all over India has been amazing where we explored cultures, traditions, cuisines etc. I will be taking you over to the various places in  India over the days. Meanwhile, the Lockdown here till May 17th, has been a blessing in disguise for these reflections.

Long Sabbatical

What happened in the last 10 years 😲
I was in the whirlwind of the profession called TEACHING. Here I got absorbed into a totally new World of Teaching and Learning and my experiences with the children have been enriching, inspiring and motivating. On a daily basis I get to interact with 90 odd children or more. I will be sharing few beautiful moments I have had over the days, Right now I am excited to be back.
Have a beautiful day.

Fractions

I was sitting with L to teach fractions in Math. G comes along to learn all what L has to learn and she often keeps telling her own answers and opinions.
There came a part in book where L needed to figure out the fractions from the pictures provided, where mostly shapes are divided into different equal parts and when I came to the page where a circle was divided into 4 equal parts and a quarter of it was shaded,
I asked L "What is this?"
Pat came G's reply:" Domino's Pizza"

Round Bones

Mama(when she sees G's bones sticking out while she poses in front of the mirror without her clothes on): G you need to drink milk, as you bones are visible to everyone.
G(investigates her bones): Mama you have a round bone
Mama(starts laughing): Where do I have it G?
G: All of us have it, Papa, Mama, L and me. It is here, she points to her tummy. This is the round bone. All of us have it.

Little bit of steam

Allergies are what haunts me daily morning when I dread to get out of bed. The endless sneezing and the using of many hankies which I often misplace all throughout my house, which off late has become a nuisance. Specially, when my nose drips and GRRrrrr!, there is not one handy. AWWWWWRrrrrrrr. Now I have found a nice remedy thanx to some friend's advice. A little bit of steaming in the morning is of big relief to me these days. It has done wonders.

Chocos Mania

G has lately got the Chocos Mania. It started with one her school friends bringing Chocos as her snack, regularly to class, so much that, she started generously giving G without herself eating. G would have her pockets filled with it when she comes home. She gives 2 for L, 2 for Mama and 2 for Papa. The rest of it, she would her munched on, all the way back from school in her bus. Anways now we have bought Chocos for her seeing that she would else keep getting them from her friends all the time. But she has got so used to keeping her pockets filled with it, that even now she empties the chocos from her snack-box into her pocket. She come homes from school with remains of chocos all smudged over her face and hands, goes the same with her pockets too.
